About Dr Dan Tran
Professional Biography
Dr Dan Tran graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSc). Following graduation, he undertook hospital placements across Melbourne, Perth and Canberra, gaining clinical experience across multiple disciplines — including Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery and Medical Oncology.
Dr Tran subsequently undertook his General Practice vocational training in Perth before joining the GP community in Victoria. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2023 — the highest specialist qualification in Australian general practice.
Dr Tran enjoys most aspects of general practice and is committed to caring for patients across all stages of life. He has a strong focus on preventive medicine — working with patients to proactively manage their health — and chronic disease management, supporting patients with ongoing health conditions to achieve the best possible quality of life.
